To create knives that last a lifetime with the innovations Benchmade is known for, ongoing collaboration with skilled craftsmen and designers is essential. One such fruitful collaboration has been with Bill McHenry and Jason Williams, renowned knifemakers with roots in watchmaking who consider their work “art with a touch of class.” McHenry and Williams are also responsible for creating Benchmade’s revolutionary AXIS locking technology on the first 710 in 1999. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of AXIS locking technology, the new 710FE-24 has the same large frame and ample cutting power as the original, but with an increased height. Featuring a sleek curved drop point blade crafted from rugged CPM S9OV steel with an FDE PVD finish, the 710FE-24 has an incredibly lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum handle with a gray anodized finish, milled FDE PVD spacers, a pocket clip and pivot ring, a satin thumb stud and an AXIS lock. An anniversary variant, inspired by its original designers, McHenry and Williams.
